Workers’ Day 2025 (1st May) Commemoration at the Castle of Good Hope…

This year, NEHAWU and other trade unions gathered at the Castle of Good Hope to commemorate Workers’ Day in a spirit of solidarity, unity, and celebration. Union members, along with their families, friends, and colleagues, came together to honour the historic struggles and ongoing contributions of workers in South Africa and beyond.

The day was filled with vibrant performances, including dance, rap, choir singing, and other creative expressions that captured the energy, resilience, and spirit of the working class.

This gathering was not only a celebration of achievements but also a reminder of the ongoing commitment to social justice, decent work, and dignity for all.
